    These are good, supportive walking shoes that should be good for our rainy winters. I was afraid that they would be too insulated to be practical on any but the coldest days, but they seem quite comfortable even for fall. The elastic lacing system lets me quickly adjust the fit to accommodate my narrow feet, with or without hiking socks. I wouldn't really decribe them as "sleek", but you can see that from the pictures.

    These are great shoes! I bought a pair at regular price when they first came out and loved them! I was glad to get this pair at a discount. Because of thier waterproof properties, they are warm on the feet. If you "run hot" they may not be the best for you.
