I've tried sport sandals from ALL the big names; Merrell, TEVA, Timberland, Mephisto, Skechers and Columbia. I can confidently say NOTHING even comes close to the looks, functionality and comfort of the $100 Keen Escape H2 sandal. For one - it's light as a feather and sheds water like a sieve, literally. I have hiked miles upon miles of Zion National Park, Yosemite and Grand Canyon, completely forgetting about my feet. The wide, secure footbed and uni-directional sole permits sure-footed traction on any surface. Best of all...they run true-to-size and has the same comfort and cooling as any open-toe sandal...but the rubber toe guards inspire confidence and keeps it rugged too.

What you really get for the money spent... is a cool and comfy sandal worthy of; kayaking, cruises, beachcombing, hiking, biking, amusement parks and ANY vacation situation you can throw at it. The bungee retainer straps work like a charm and keeps this sandal on snugly....even while trail jogging, or skydiving 10,000ft from a plane! I play HARD and this sandal keeps begging for more!

Yes, they are pricey...but you're looking at this summer's hippest sport sandal and trust me...you'll be wearing it everywhere, once the temperature climbs up. Consider this sandal more like a water-friendly, tennis shoe that can endure all terrain...sock-free. Expect 2-3 active seasons on this sandal and your expense will be 120% justified.

About Keen

Keen shoes have been helping feet find adventure since 2003, and it all began with the signature KEEN.PROTECT toe bumper. It might seem strange to build a footwear company around a feature, but that iconic toe bumper is more than just a style add-on. It’s what allows Keen sandals to hit the trails and provide the best toe protection possible. In fact, Keen was one of the first footwear companies to make closed-toed hiking sandals. Over the years, the product selection has continued to grow and now includes Keen hiking boots, trail shoes, cycling shoes, socks, clothing and bags. The brand is also actively involved in land and water conservation projects in the US, Canada, Europe and Japan.
