Keen Finlay Shoes (For Men)

Closeouts. The slim, sleek design of Keen's Finlay shoes easily transition from urban adventures to more rugged terrain like pros, all thanks to the lightweight, oxford design, protective Keen toe bumper and grippy rubber outsole.

Bought these on a good clearout price $47.42 after reading reviews from this site and others. Took a chance & wore them right out of the box on a 'big city ' trip, malls, concert, dinner, site seeing. Read that they were a wide profile. Yes the box toe has lots of room , I have a narrow foot , but did not experience any heel lift which was my fear. Bought the brown/black colour, Slate Black 05, but the top of the shoe is brown, looked great with designer jeans. Extremely comfortable, no issues , good arch support. side support and forward stride roll. A lot of shoes have a comfortable sole, but require effort ( tiring) walking, like pushing a load, or walking uphill ; these roll heel to toe nicely. For some buyers the soles ran out quickly, I assume because they are soft, adding to the comfort , weighing 160 lbs, I am hoping that won't be too much of an issue. If I see another equivalent "closeout on top of a sale " price, I will buy another pair. Couldn't be happier with these Keen Findlays.

I love Keens and find the mens shoes fit well. I wear a 10 in womens and an 8 in mens. I have a wide foot. I found they fit well and can be worn in the rain. They are waterproof and look fine with my jeans. I did find they scuff easily so they didn't look new for as long as I would have liked. I would recommend these shoes. They aren't a fancy shoe but they have enough stitching to pass as a girls shoe. They have an excellent insole that will come out if the shoe gets soaked and needs to dry. I anticipate these shoes will wear well and last quite a while. Keens really work hard for me. My husband is thinking he may want a pair too! We love our Keens!

First time I ordered Keens. I considered returning them after the first couple days when they made my feet sore, because I had read many people say Keen shoes don't feel like they need a break-in. These were quite stiff at first. They feel good when you first put your feet in them, but after hours of wearing them they are a bit hard on the feet. Never had that problem with the Merrell Jungle Moc I am coming from. But it pretty incredible that these shoes are so light weight and yet so solidly constructed. Personally I don't like brown shoes and outdoor shoes seem to be dominated by brown (probably to hide dirt and mud), so I was glad to find black and gray. This style (Finlay, Shadow something)doesn't show on Keen website, so I assume it's discontinued. The toe box is very roomy (as I've seen other Keen reviews mention) but the heal is very solidly stabilized and laces do a good job of allowing fine adjustments to snugness. Very well made overall. I've had them a week so far, and we'll see as time goes on if they soften up more. At this point they are requiring some break-in that my Merrell's did not.

I have a business casual dress code at work. These shoes are comfortable and are great for work. They are also casual enough that I can wear them with jeans as well.

I wear a 15 in the past two pairs of tennis shoes I've purchased. I ordered a 15 in these shoes and there is literally a full inch of space behind my heel when I push my foot forward. I've returned for a 13. I love the look of the shoe though and can't wait to get the thirteens.
