    Like all Keens, these are sturdy, great toebox, and really cute. I bought them for kayaking and thought they would stay on my foot well in muddy areas and that I could hike shore lines as well. The buckles are adjustable so you can tighten or loosen depending on how high your instep is. The only disadvantage is the buckles are very small and although they are easy to close, it takes some effort to unsnap/open them. A minor annoyance but if you have big hands or fingers it might be a deal breaker for you. Otherwise I love them.

    Bought a pair of these for a trip to Thailand and wound up wearing them the entire trip. City walking and at the beach. Very comfortable. There is little elastic band that allows the strap to expand/contract with your feet which is a great feature if your feet swell. The buckle takes a bit to get used to when taking off due to small size but if you pinch it, then no problem.
