I bought this boots for my expedition trip to China. I trekked the Mount Emei and Tiger Leaping Gorge. We went through mud, rocks and waterfall. My feet stayed dry and comfortable. No complain at all.

My wife loves them and she is hard to fit. Of course Keen has a 100% average with her! She will be putting 25-30 miles on these in Glacier NP in June.

I recently signed up for a photography class. I bought 2 cameras which I carry around. They get heavier and heavier as time passes by, and my whole body feels it. I thought a pair of hiking boots my help to absorb some of the way out on my feet, and these boots did the trick. These hiking boots are not only good looking, but they are light, water proof and there is no need to break them in. I love them!

As usual, Keens do not disappoint. Because of a hammer toe, I need a wide toe box and this boot provided more than enough room. The boot is half-price at Sierra Trading. You can't beat this deal!

These boots definitely run small. I love my previous Keen hiking boots so ordered these as a replacement after my others were just too worn in. They seemed like great boots, but even after ordering the same size as my previous Keens they were just a bit too small. I definitely recommend ordering a half size up

I read the reviews, which said "Size Up!" I ordered the boots a half size up and my toes were still bumping into the front of the boot. I am returning them but size 8 is't even available to order so it looks like I am not going to be wearing these boots anytime soon.

I haven't quite broken the boot in as yet, but find them to be comfortable so far. The fit is fine, although I followed previous reviewers and went with a size larger than usual.

My feet are a pain -- literally! I have low arches, and if I wear any kind of arch support, they become unbearably painful. They are also painful without arch supports when I am active. Crazy, I know! I bought running shoes at a store that records one's stride and makes calculations to find the "perfect" pair of shoes, and even they didn't get it right (not even close!). I think that I would love snowboarding, but the only time I ever tried, I failed miserably because my rental boots killed my feet. People are often shocked to hear this because snowboarding boots are apparently known to be much less painful than, say, ski boots. All of that being said, I truly cannot believe how great my feet felt in these hiking boots! Against my better judgment, I wore them for a >10 mile hike right out of the box. We had actually planned on a much shorter hike, but I was more than happy to extend it because my feet felt so great. My right ankle started hurting a tiny bit in the last couple of miles, but nothing unbearable. The pain was of the surface variety, caused by the stiffness of the upper. I'm sure that the boots will soften as I wear them more. As far as sizing goes, I typically wear a size 9. I wondered if I should order a size 10 in these boots to accommodate foot swelling and hiking socks, but ended up going with a 9.5. I'm glad I did because 9.5 fit perfectly with medium hiking socks. This could be a fluke because I have read in a few places that Keen's sizing isn't consistent. I don't know how accurate that is. I highly recommend these boots! I don't know what makes them severely hurt some ankles and not others, and as I said, I'm not sure about the consistency of the sizing. All I know is that the pair that I received is wonderful for my problematic feet. They make me want to hike more!

These boots are wonderful! I wore them for my first long hike (7 miles) to prepare for the Camino de Santiago (a 500 mile trip) and these worked like a charm. They did not rub my feet, and my feet were not sore form the rocks. The only thing is that they run about 1/2 too small. I had to send my first pair back to get a larger size. Other than that, they are perfect!
