    I really like these shoes and they were a great price. they are comfortable although my opinion is they run about a 1/2 size big. The one complaint I have is that the straps are made of elastic. This means when you walk they give so your foot and heel ride up and down with each step. I do not think this would be solved with a smaller size I think they need a leather strap not elastic.

    This is my fourth pair and they stand up to miles and miles of walking in the southwest. They are opened enough to be comfortable in the summer and spring yet closed enough to deal with the dust and rain.

    I bought the rust color in my regular size and they were too big. Exchanged for a half size smaller in the blue color and they fit perfectly. I've worn them several times and they are very comfortable.
