Keen Hermosa Shoes (For Women)

Nice combination of good looks and comfort

The shoes feel great just standing still in them, but when walking my feet slipped up and down way too much. The straps are too elastic and stretchy and don't hold my feet solidly enough. I returned the shoes for a refund. Buying shoes online is a challenge.

Highly cushioned to absorb shock. Is a little high on the heel. Because of the openess and the location of the two velcro straps, you need to have a slim foot. Any swelling or extra padding is going to look funny in this shoe.

I always love my STP purchases

I loved this shoe before I received it. Keens are my go-to brand for "let's hike around foreign country" shoe. I have worn them through Panama, India, Mexico, so approaching another wander I wanted a shoe that would be durable and comfortable, and yeah, a little flair doesn't hurt. The Hermosa slipped completely off my heel everytime I took a step even though the size/length was correct. The straps that go over the arch might have helped to correct this had I been able to tighten them enough, but there was not enough velcro available on the straps to do so. So, a thumbs down on what I was hopeful would be my next 2 year trekking shoe.

I expected a Keen shoe to be comfortable and durable. Sadly, I sent the shoes back.

Didn't care for the way they looked. Weren't anything special.
