Closeouts. Part cozy bootie, part hardcore, puddle-jumping performance, Keen's Howser slipper shoes offer a warm, quilted, chenille-fleece-lined upper and a super-sturdy, super-sticky rubber outsole that's ready for action.

We love the KEEN brand and I couldn't pass up this deal. Yes the opening is narrow, so I bought the next size up - problem solved. My 9-year old son loves them! We like the fact they can be worn outside. I plan to dose these in weather-proofing spray so he can wear them more! They are a good fit and seem as durable as all the other KEEN shoes we've bought him (new and used) over the years. They definitely keep the feet warm and we recommend they be allowed to air out or fluffed in the dryer once in a while. We hope these will last 2-3 winters. Doesn't hurt that purple is our school's colors either!

great looking shoes but you literally can't put them on if you have a normal size foot. Very frustrating especially for little kids. I read the reviews and figured it couldn't be this bad but it is... DON"T BUY unless you know your feet will fit

I see others commenting on the opening of this shoe being too small and difficult to put on. My kids have narrow feet and they have lovingly named these shoes their "wiggle wiggle shoes" because they really have to wiggle their feet and ankles to get them on, but they love them and wear them everywhere. So that being said I rAted them higher because these are my kids favorite shoes and they are sturdy, comfortable (once on), and go well with their everyday clothes. Good construction.

I bought these a full size bigger than what my daughter usually needs. They were plenty long but she could not get her foot into the shoe! The hole for the foot is simply too small. It's like the folks at Keen designed this shoe and never tested it on a human.

I was so excited to get these for my two youngest children as they looked super comfortable and practical (especially for our camping trips). The footprint (e.g. general length and width) of the shoes were fine for both boys, but neither one of them could get their feet into the opening. We tried and tried and then tried and tried some more. It was simply not possible for either one of them to even try them on. Too bad because these could have been awesome. Otherwise, the quality of the materials and such looked great.
