    I have a pair of Keen sandals that I have worn like crazy hiking and walking. They support my feet really well and grip great on rocks. I bought these shoes for a fraction the price of the sandals, so I'm not really unhappy about them, but they feel much more light weight, not as sturdy as other Keen shoes. The style looked nicer on the website. They are pretty comfie though and I will wear them around town and for hiking.

    I put these on when they arrived to see how they fit. It was several hours later that I realized I was still wearing them. Very comfortable. Because of cold weather and snow I haven't worn them again, but will definitely take them for a southern break.

    I've always avoided the Keen shoes because of the different shape. I'm sorry I did. These are the most stable, most foot coddling shoes I have worn. Their strong suit is their support for the entire anatomy of the foot. Each foot-fall is stable and sure.
