These aren't dressy sandals of course but they are a little more feminine. And they're comfortable. And they have the good Keen quality. I'm very pleased with them. These are a little bit narrow and short for an 8. They fit me ok because my foot is narrow - but if you have a medium or wide foot I think it would be better to go up a size.

Reviewed by Spuds from WA on Tuesday, April 09, 2013I bought these shoes for my mom, and she loves them. She wears 10s in other shoes, but usually takes a 9.5 in Keens. I bought the 9.5 and they fit great, and she says they're comfortable for walking- which is what she purchased them for.

They are good to wear around town with jeans, but not good for hiking as the toe is very open and exposed. Very comfortable sandals.

I expect to wear them with shorts and capris, and they're delicate enough to look fine with skirts as well. The purple color is great, deep and bright. Other reviewers found the thin webbing-like straps uncomfortable but I did not, and I have tissue paper thin skin on my feet. As an example, there was no way I could wear the Keen Whispers, which had all thin straps. Here only two of the straps are the webbing kind, the rest are wider and feel felt-like. I hope I'm not disappointed when I start wearing these for real but so far they're fine. Be aware that the soles of these sandals are quite flat for a Keen, so if you need a lot of arch support you're not likely to find it here.
