Love these - bought three of them! Runs about 1/2 size big. I usually wear a 7 and bought one in 7. Big, but doable. Bought next two in 6,5 and fits perfect. I usually go up 1/2 sz in Keens but this was a totally different fit. Very cute and surprisingly has support even for me with Plantar Fa...

This is my first pair of Keens and I believe they are the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. I have a wide but short foot, and the 5.5 shoes I ordered fit very well. Length-wise, I would probably be better in a 5, but the shoes don't bind over the top of my foot, so I am happy with the 5.5. The only improvement that could be made to these shoes is to extend the length of the Velcro another half inch or so. The straps do fasten over my fleshy, high-arched foot, but they just barely fasten—adding a bit more Velcro to the strap myself should make them feel more secure, but I probably won't be able to match the color. This is a very minor complaint—I really do love these shoes, and I have received many compliments on them in the short time I have owned them.

I have owned several pairs of Keens and these are by far the most comfortable of them all! The berry color is pretty and rich, and goes with a lot of different colors. I just wished that they had the other color in my size because I'd buy those too! Cons: A little bit hot in warm weather, they probably look best worn without socks and, for some odd reason they have a strong rubber smell. Maybe because the upper is made of neoprene? These run true to size, my feet are on the narrower side and width wise are perfect. I also have a bunion and the shoes accommodates it and because of the stretchiness of the neoprene, very comfy.

If your orthodic extends the length of your foot, it should work, if it is just an arch support, it might be a bit difficult because the sides of the shoe are open. But perhaps if you used something under the orthodic to keep it from moving side to side... Your foot has a little play in this shoe. My feet have not slipped around in it though, and I assume this is because the sole has slight side ridges to hug the base of your foot a bit, However, the upper IS an elasticised material.
