Keen Menlo Park Backpack

purchased this pack for a christmas present. Didn't realize that there wasn't a flap cover to flip over the drawstring. Will work well for a young college student to tote all the goodies for school.

I like that this is lightweight as well as roomy. I like the cloth interior and will probably tend to use it as an overnight/weekend bag as well as for other uses. Very satisfied!

I use this pack daily at work where I walk from one place to another, inside and out. I carry a 3/4 liter coffee thermos, a water bottle, fruit and power bars, eating utensils, ditty bags, calculator and writing materials - you get the idea. There is room to spare for a rain jacket or spare socks, etc. if I need that. This pack is rugged, comfortable and adjustable. It would be great for school - related items, no doubt.

With the draw string top closure, this bag is perfect for use around town & travel. Too many times I've carried a backpack that was designed for hiking and was overkill for just kicking around town-this bag makes it easy to put things in or take things out without having to mess with zippers or clasps.

This backpack is very attractive, but it is heavier than I would like. I wish it had a few more pockets, and side pockets for water bottle. But I didn't study the details before I ordered, so that's my fault. I love Keen products, so I will keep this, but probably have my husband carry this.

I'm a back to school adult learner, so form and function is important to me. The backpack fits my needs perfectly. It carries two large textbooks, notebooks, water, pouches for pens/pencils and has room to spare. Have not used it for laptop yet, and don't fore see any problems in that area. If anything I would love to see side web pouches, but of couse its not part of the design here. The quality and craftmanship is synoymous with Keen, the large open draw-string top makes it easy to put books in and be on my way. Added plus, most of the materials are from recycled plastics or aluminum.

I ride my bike to work everyday and this pack holds everything from keys and wallet to folders and papers to lunch and socks. Plus, it sits real well on my back while I am biking. Nice product!

Great pack. Bought it for my husband for a gift and he loves it.

It's a bit "heavy." But that is the price of "durable!"
