I wish this had worked. Love Keens in general but some other factory must have cranked this one out for them. oh well

This Keen shoe is not as clunky, nor as wide in the toe as some are. But it is still made by Keen, so is as comfortable as one would expect. The look of the shoe is fabulous. I think the arch may be a bit lower than other Keens. I purchased an insole to heighten the arch in mine. The laces are a bit annoying, due to being just "ordinary" push-through-the-hole laces, and not wrap-around eyelets, but this probably adds to the shoe's more street savy appearance. I think it would be fine for light hiking though.

While these boots are very stylish and versatile they don't feel as immediately comfortable when you slip them on as other Keen shoes. The ankle area is a bit restrictive and rubs around the area. I ended up unlacing the boots by one to give a little more movement. Since I've done that the boots are more comfortable and I've worn them more often. I think they just need a solid couple of wears to them to break them in to the point where they're a similar feel to most other Keens. For the price I paid, they're worth a little bit of a break in period.

I really like these boots a lot. They are light weight, but sturdy. The only negative I see is that a different lacing system would be more functional; the lacing holes on the shoes pierce the shoe and allow water to enter during very wet conditions and the cotton-type laces soak up water. The lacing is also fairly difficult to adjust.

I really like these boots. They are comfortable and really cute.I would wear them more often, but my high arches make them tough to get on. I suppose I've worn too many slip on shoes and clogs. These boots were a good purchase as are all of the Keens I own, and the price is great ,too.

These Keens will replace a pair of black lace up Keen sneakers from at least 3 years ago that I've worn deeply. I like the swirling accents and the Keen comfort. The laces are a drag (cuz most my shoes are slip on) but, that's not the fault of the shoe :)

These are very comfortable and warm boots. I have only worn these as casual footwear and have not tested them in the snow or rain.

Sorry, but I didn't like these boots. The moment I put them on they felt like cheap mock-offs. Not comfortable, not warm, not durable.

Classy looking boot with the little flower design. I have a very narrow foot and wear an 8 1/2 in Keen sandals. These boots in size 8 1/2 were wide. To get a good fit required me to replace the liner with my custom made orthotic. This narrowed the boot to my foot and works just fine. Unfortunately, when I want to wear my New Balance I have to remove the orthotic. The boots require a lot of unlacing and lacing to accomplish orthotic changes. Warning, these are not "Pivettas", the wonderful, sturdy Italian hiking boot that outlasted all others. I would not want to hike the "Canyon" or the "Tetons" in these for fear of ankle twists. They are lightweight and comfortable with my orthotics for weekend hiking and around the city walking. They are flexible enough to wear comfortably while driving. I have not worn them in really cold or really wet weather as of yet. In 40 degree rain they are fine for keeping feet dry and warm.
