5.0 out of 5 stars. Better than barefoot?
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Cookie H. from Asheville, NC on Tuesday, April 29, 2008
These are the most comfortable sandals/shoes that I've ever owned. Feels like I'm barefoot, but I have plenty of support and protection. The only downside is that they can make your feet a little stinky after wearing them all the time, which you want to do once you try them on.

  • 5.0 out of 5 stars. Keen sandals are awesome!

Like any other Keen footwear, their sandals are super comfortable and durable. I use these sandals a lot while fly fishing when it is too warm to wear waders. They are also good for hiking or just casual wear.

My husband loves these sandals. He is on his feet all day and often works in these. We keep two pair on hand to rotate and clean to keep them fresh.

  • 5.0 out of 5 stars. Nice, for protecting the toes!

Been wearing them non stop for about a week now but not on any trails/water adventures. I like them. They are a little hotter than my open toed Tevas but I was looking for toe protection. There are no rubbing spots. I ordered 1/2 size larger like the website said but not sure that was necessary for me. I think the tightness in these shoes depends on the thickness of your ankles more than the length of the foot. Anyhow, I like my sandals a little larger than my foot. If you plan on hiking in them a lot, you might need to consider the sizing more. Don't know about durability yet but I expect them to last since they are Keen!!

About Keen

Keen shoes have been helping feet find adventure since 2003, and it all began with the signature KEEN.PROTECT toe bumper. It might seem strange to build a footwear company around a feature, but that iconic toe bumper is more than just a style add-on. It’s what allows Keen sandals to hit the trails and provide the best toe protection possible. In fact, Keen was one of the first footwear companies to make closed-toed hiking sandals. Over the years, the product selection has continued to grow and now includes Keen hiking boots, trail shoes, cycling shoes, socks, clothing and bags. The brand is also actively involved in land and water conservation projects in the US, Canada, Europe and Japan.
