Keen Newport H2 Sandals (For Men)

Wore them extensively the first day - running, walking and climbing on old lava flows, as well as swimming in them around coral. Got no blisters or hot spots. Great support and protection for al lthe above!

I'm an orthpedic surgeon's best friend. I've had 18 orthopedic surgeries in the past 35 years, My foot, knee, hip, shoulder and wrist, while avoiding surgery on my lower back injury. I have acute osteo arthritis, thanks to many sports injuries. I have owned just about every brand of shoe, touted as "the best" by doctors. Keens are by far, superior to everything I've ever tried. Last spring we took the kids on a week long trip to Disneyworld, I bought Keens for the whole family. With all that standing and walking on hard pavement, normally I'd be hurting half way through the first day. We went the whole week, often 12-16 hours a day in our Keens. I never felt so great. The soles are incredibly supportive, the uppers easily adjust as needed in all day wear, to accomidate swelling. My feet, hips, and back never hurt. I'd recommend Keens to anyone, but especially those with orthopedic issues and/or arthritis. The copie-cats do not compare! Get the REAL THING... KEENS ARE GREAT!

Good price but should have heeded a reviewer who stated that the shoe came smaller. Had to exchange it. The replacement, which is a half size larger is snug. Perhaps a break-in period will make the fit more comfortable. Cannot wear sox with the new one.

Exchanged to come up a half size larger; still rather snug; am breaking it in to see if it would fit; cannot wear socks with it as it would require going up another half size; feel like I should have gone up a half size larger from my normal shoe size. Jury is still out regarding what is the proper size to buy.

We exclusively wear Keens all year. Normal sizes for summer without socks and larger sizes for winter with heavy Fox River Socks Backpacker wool socks (best winter socks on the market). These sandals were specifically purchased a full size larger to accommodate wool socks. Fit absolutely perfect. What's nice about the Newport and Newport H2 is the adjustable lacing system. Ideal for adjusting fit, particularly with heavy socks. For those thinking why would anyone wear sandals in the winter - breathability. When feet perspire normal shoes don't allow socks to properly dry and therefore, cold feet. However, sandals are recommended for inside winter wear with the occasional quick outside excursion.

These are the most comfortable sandals/shoes that I've ever owned. Feels like I'm barefoot, but I have plenty of support and protection. The only downside is that they can make your feet a little stinky after wearing them all the time, which you want to do once you try them on.

I love these sandals. I belong to a hiking club and we see all kinds of terrain, I can wear them with or without hiking socks and they have stood up to everything I can give them. I recommend buying a full size smaller as they are roomy.

Just wanted to comment that the "tea" color is more of a plum/berry/wine color and I thought I was getting a beige color for my husband. Hope he's okay with the color!
