“I bought this style of Keens without ever seeing them in the store or trying them on. I read the reviews and like many Keens ordered a half-size up. I wear a 9 in most shoes but the 9.5 is a perfect fit in this shoe. I take a 9 in Keen voyager, but a 9.5 in the Targhee II, so there is even size variation with their different styles. These shoes are a little taller than a regular sneaker but not as tall as a hiker. I got them for going for walks in less than perfect New England fall weather and for variegated terrain such as the cobblestone streets of Boston. They're waterproof without making your feet hot and sweaty.”
