Good trail sole. Inferior upper material

No, I would not recommend this to a friend

I run trails for ultra distances. These shoes should hold up a little better than they do. They would most likely be perfect for hiking. I did but two pair and I'll certainly use them. But that was before I noticed the tearing at stress points. I'll look for another shoe after these are done with.
