    cute, comfy, not a super-flexible/torque-able footbed (yay!) really close to flat, which is great for my back & knees note: nowhere near waterproof. not really even water resistant (10 mins in the rain will = wet toes.) I love keens - wide toe box, good sole/footbed, etc. Note: if you wear their targhee 2 shoes, these run 1/2 size smaller (really targhee & related styles - note the sole - run 1/2 size bigger.)

    Bought these shoes for my 11 year old - thinking that I was buying them a size too big and they were a size too small. So, now they belong to my 9 year old. She likes them - but also has a pair of the keen shay boots that don't require tying - so guess which pair she chooses more often?

    Out of the box, these were extremely comfortable. Just the right balance of support, cushioning, flexibility and rigidity. They didn't even need additional arch supports like most shoes other than Birkenstocks and Danskos. I paid full price and counted myself lucky to have found them. My normal size is 8.5 and I needed the 9. Nice roomy toe box. Great for walking.
