“Better for larger kids”

“I loved these shoes in the infant sizes and was so sad when my child outgrew the 7. So when I bought the 8, I was very disappointed to see that the shape was so strange. It looks like they scaled down a size 12 to work as an 8, so as mentioned in other comments, the front toe is a really odd shape, very bulbous. On the other hand, my DD has narrow feet and I didn't get the sense that these were way too wide in terms of fit, just in terms of how it looks. I think these will be better for us when she gets to a larger sized foot.”
