Keen Salem Boots (For Women)

I had a hard time getting them on - I have a high arch. My husband had to help me. But, once I got them on, they were very comfortable. He had to help me get them off as well. I hope they get easier as I wear them. My husband has some and says they are the most comfortable boots he has ever worn, bar none.

I love Keens but the problem is a size in one style may not fit the same in another. The boot I purchased did not fit even though it was a half size bigger then my current Keen boot.

I have had a pair of those same boots in brown for 4 years. That's how durable they are. But they are expensive in usual retail. On STP, I got a great deal [...]

Took these out of the box, put them on and have worn them every day since. Keen shoes are the best by far. Although I was dubious of the style, my husband has given them the thumbs up and they get a LOT of looks from strangers (not laughs). I have noticed that they can be slippery on wet concrete, so be careful.

This boot would work better for someone with a higher volume foot. For me it feels a little large although the length is correct. I would recommend this boot to a friend with higher volume feet.

Easy to slip on

My foot is wider and I wear an orthodic. Orthodic slipped right in, and boot gives enough support to help me walk well.

This is my first pair of Keens so didn't know their sizing. I took the advice of some reviewers to order a half size up but they are way to big, and I have wide feet. They are light weight and don't seem very durable. Most disappointing of all is that they are definitely NOT waterproof. However, I needed boots ASAP and they were a good price so I'm keeping them.

I normally LOVE Keen, but these boots are really big around the ankle and doesn't give any support.

Just got these, as I really wanted another pr of Keens, at supersale prices, and -but - I think they are just too wide in the heel to be comfortable for walking, fat socks or not. They would be great if they fit right, but I think it's an issue with the blocky last, slipon design,and my combination (narrow heel- widerfront)foot. Am reluctant to size down in length. Would recommend to people if they have the right foot shape! Probably should return, but will see if a different insert ( like superfeet) will hold my foot in place.
