Pros:
Comfortable, Cushions Impact, Good Arch Support
Best Uses:
Casual Wear
Describe Yourself:
Comfort Driven
Sizing:
Feels true to size
Width:
Feels true to width
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
I checked "true to size," meaning true to Keen sizing. I normally wear an 8 in men's sport casual shoes and an 8 1/2 in Keens [Newports and Lagunas]for a nice roomy fit. When I first put these shoes on, I could feel my toes lightly touching the ends. After a few miles of city walking, my toes were fine and I imagine the unlined suede will stretch more over time.
That being said, there IS a different fit going from Newports to a full shoe. If you normally wear a Keen half-size without much wiggle room, I would definitely get the next size up.
These are not particularly stylish, but fine with jeans or chinos. Best use would be around the house or out for a meal or movie. When others have said they're a nice house slipper, it's a pretty accurate description.
Biggest gripe: Can't tighten the soft laces snugly--as they drag against the suede holes--making the shoes slip a little on the heels.

I'm always looking for a great lightweight moccasin style shoe and every so often one is made by a manufacturer. When I find it, I buy about 4 pairs to last until the next offering. This shoe is light, feels comfortable as soon as you put it on( but order one size larger than you wear, as Keens tend to run a bit small), and looks goood! I use this shoe casually as well as for semi-dress. I also like the fact that Keen downsized its "bumper toe" on this model. The shoe is flexible with no known pinch points, hence, minimal friction points. The leather is like good quality handbag leather turned inside out. Keen should supply an extra set of laces, as the shoe could outlast them.

I have three other pairs of Keen shoes and love them and wear them very regularly. I always wear a 9 1/2. I needed to return these and ask for a full size larger. I'm waiting for the new pair now. They did look great.

My husband stands at work for most of the day. He was looking for a shoe that looks good yet provides the support he needs. This shoe does both. It is very comfortable and sufficiently stylish. Great shoe!

These shoes look soft and comfortable and they are. I work at home so they are my work shoes and around-the-house shoes at the same time. I have other shoes for wearing outside so I will probably prolong their life by just wearing them inside. I find them definitely to run a half-size small. I have some other Keens. In my usual size, the Boston fits fine, the Austin is a little snug, and in this shoe my toes were jammed up against the end, so I went up 1/2 size. The eyelets for the laces have no reinforcement, so lace-against-suede makes it a little difficult to get the laces pulled tight. Patience is a virtue, and then you get to enjoy your comfy shoes all day.

"True to size/width": that's FOR THIS WOMAN. Keen sizing is all over the lot (like most shoes now). "Normally" (in the old days) wore size 9.5/10 Narrow in all women's shoes and 8/8.5 with thick socks in men's. Now have bunions. In this lace-up style (only!), trial & error showed the men's 9.5 is just right. With laces adjusted, width good in all socks. Love the comfort and look, in both dark brown and taupe.
