    These shoes are great! I worked as a guide in Alaska this summer and I wore them everywhere, I had no blisters and my reoccurring Achilles tendinitis did not bother me. The only issue i found is that the traction is less then desirable on a wet and muddy trail, but I still prefer a good trail runner over any hiking boot!

    i bought two pairs because they fit great and can shift from nature hikes to city life and they don't make my feet look huge! I especially like keen's sticky soles...great for slippery dirt trails and even ice.

    Was a bit concerned as many reviews say heel felt loose. I did not have that experience. I wore Keen Shellrock Hiking Shoes right out of the box for a hike in the Tonto Natural Bridge State Park and the Grand Canyon. No hot spots! Very comfortable and light weight.

    This is the second pair I've gotten, I also have the waterproof ones and I loved them! I can wear them all day without my feet hurting. I got the teal color but I prefer the black waterproof ones as they don't show the dirt as much but both are comfy and great for my active life. A little concerned about my first pair holding up but it might just be because I wear them all the time!
