Keen Shellrock Hiking Shoes (For Women)

Really a gem of a waterproof walking/exercise shoe. Too bad Keen has discontinued it!!!

I was surprised because it said the shoe ran small and to order a half size larger. I wear an 8 but I really wanted these shoes and they only had a 7 left in the color I wanted. I received them and expected them to be too small but they fit great. They have a wide toe area and I think this may be the reason they fit. I have wide feet so although they are a size too small the width allows them to fit my feet correctly.

I use this product for my exclusive hiking shoe.

This is a very stable, supportive shoe.

I love Keen products. I have 3 pairs of their sport sandals, and I expected to love these shoes for hiking with my dog. I actually tried to like these, even though I was disappointed with them from the moment they were on my feet. I have found Keen products typically to have a wide footbed (I wear a B width) and to be extremely comfortable with no break-in. These shoes were tight and were narrower than my other Keens. Adding a sock for hiking wasn't an option. Looking back on it maybe I should have checked to make sure they were the right size. I can't imagine that ordering a half size up would remedy the situation, maybe a full size. I returned these, truly disappointed, and wondering if these were a Keen knock-off.

Use mostly as every day shoe, walking for exercise, etc. Love this shoe. It's lighweight & not clunky looking with great arch support. Comfort with support. I do wish the laces were a little longer so I could double knot them.

This is my second identical pair - why, because they are a perfect, extremely comfortable fit, and they look great. Thanks for this great shoe.

These shoes are meant for shorter day hikes - perfect for the beginning and end of the hiking season when you don't need your "big" boots. Very comfortable.

Super comfy. Put them on, and have worn them every day since. Ordered half size up, based on other reviews, and they fit perfect. The gird on top of the shoe did hit my foot the first few days, but after that broke in, or else my foot got used to it. It was not painful, just kind of a pressure that wasn't there in my last pair of shoes. Would say the color is more purple than pink.

I currently own Keen Targhee boots which are hands down the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. These shoes felt familiar EXCEPT that the top of the toe box rubbed the tops of my toes in an odd and uncomfortable way. Maybe it was just this particular pair? Keens run small so I bought a half size up, but the length seemed fine. I am sorry to have to send them back.
