    The shoe for the most part is comfortable but did take some time to break in. I also had a problem with my heel slightly slipping out, I am not sure if it is because these shoes have relatively no ankle support or if they are made larger than other shoes.

    I like the shoes, but they must be broken in before taken on a hike. Also, if laced too tightly, they hurt the top of your foot.

    I use these for my daily walks..rain or shine. They may be the only shoe I bring on an upcoming trip to Europe. They are certainly comfortable enough to wear all day and I like that they are waterproof. I'll be good to go for days of exploring during what might be rainy spring weather.

    I bought these shoes to do a 4 day trek on the Inca Trail in Peru. They were great. With very little breaking-in beforehand, they were incredibly comfortable, durable and dry. Perfect for a long-distance hike in relatively uneven terrain. Only complaint - laces are pretty short. Not enough even length to double-knot so they came untied a few times.
