Reviewed by Schemy the outdoorsman from Indianapolis on Monday, May 6, 2013I just broke this out over the last weekend for a 3 day, two night camp-out. The weekend was very wet with extended periods of rain. I was most pleased that my feet remained warm and dry in these boots. I did not have the opportunity to break these boots in; They were taken out of the box and worn directly. I went on a short 5 mile hike and was impressed with how comfortable the soles of the boots felt. My only slight gripe was some slight discomfort from rubbing against the area just above the outside ankle, with the upper part of of the boot , not enough to cause a blister. Perhaps with more wear this will subside, . Quality of materials and assembly of this boot are apparent. Add to this the great value provided by STP and I am a happy customer.
Question & Answer
“Do these boots run true to size? I do not have any keen footware, but have heard that they tend to run a little small and should be ordered a half size up. Anybody have any experience with this?”
According to our fit models these boots are running true to size. Now if you intend on wearing heavy socks you may consider ordering a half size larger than your street shoe size. http://www.sierratradingpost.com/lp2/hiking-footwear-guide/
