Verified Buyer Reviewed by Pacifica Walker from CA on Sunday, January 31, 2016Perfect shoe for all day hiking or walking. Comfortable right out of the box. Be sure to order size that provides room for your toes when going down hills.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Bert Blood from Colorado on Friday, January 22, 2016Fit people with a wider foot. Nice construction and company I trust. True to size according to my feet.
Reviewed by GemStateMom from Idaho on Monday, January 18, 2016These boots were very comfortable right out of the box. I have wide feet and have a hard time finding shoes that do not squeeze my foot, but these were fine. However, if you have narrow feet, you may find them too wide. They are also nice and light.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Ashley from NC on Sunday, January 17, 2016I used the boots for horse work, and love them. They are comfortable, durable, and easy to clean. Highly recommend not just for hiking

Question “do these laces need to be tied?”
Answer Yes, you have to lace the top part of the boot around the ankle and tie the laces.

Answer Yes. They wrap around the little clips on the side and tie in the front. It's hard to tell from the photo.
