    I bought these for my 9 yo son who loves to play soccer/football/ etc in all weather conditions including blizzards. Some of the other boots are so clunky that he can not run in them. He tried them out and loved these. Can't comment on the weatherproofing, warmth, etc as we have not hit our snowy season yet. Hoping for the best.

    I bought these for my son who has a rather wide foot. Because of the side zip, he can easily get his foot in the boot without any adult help. I did purchase a size big because of the width of his foot, but with a wool sock, they should work well. He hasn't worn them yet as it's still early Fall, so I can't say how warm or watertight they are. But he seems to like them and can get on/off by himself.
