Keen Ventura Canvas Shoes (For Women)

These have become my new favorite shoe

I must own five or six pairs of Keens and yet returned these the minute they arrived. They're stiff, fit weird and too big. Not the Keens I'm used to.

I love Keen shoes. Have several pairs. The Ventura is fairly comfortable. Rather flatter than normal Keen's but I can wear them for long periods of time. I have bunions and these don't bother them. They are much cuter than the old Converse and a lot more comfortable. They came with two pairs of laces. The black color is not true black but a faded black denim color which is very attractive.

These are fun shoes to wear! They are unique and comfortable. I originally purchased them to wear to work, but I have worn them more for everything else. Mostly having fun in. They are Keen quality, so you can expect support, comfort, and a width that does not scrape your toes. They are wider than the Chuck Taylor Converse canvas shoes. Very easy on the soles with a soft, thick rubber bottom.

I love these shoes so much that I just bought a back up pair, to save for when my current pair finally wears out. I suffer from arthritis and plantar fascitis, and yet I can wear these "tennis shoes" ALL DAY with no pain whatsoever--there are no other similar shoes out there that I can stand for more than a few hours. They're even good for long hikes, as I found out in Minnesota when I forgot my hiking boots. They're groovy-retro in style, they're ecologically responsible, and they seem durable, too (I've had my pair for several years, now). Cannot recommend highly enough (and you get two different colors of shoelace, to boot!) What a deal.

I traveled with these shoes in Europe and they were never uncomfortable and looked good with shorts, jeans, and other pants. Would not use as a dress shoe, definitely causal comfort

my 49 year old son told me how great keen shoes are, and he has several pairs and wears them all the time. and I think they're the best, most comfortable shoe I have ever worn. I have a small farm and wear them during work, shopping, doing everything! plan to buy keen sandles in a few weeks.

I was really disappointed in these shoes. My other Keens (sandals and hiking boots) started out comfortable and got better, but these were hard as a rock out of the box--no cushioning in the sole at all and not enough arch support. Also, because of the unpadded collar there could be a blister issue. They look great, though, so I hope Keen will rethink the inside of the shoe and leave the outside alone. [...]
