Keen Wintersport Boots - Waterproof (For Women)

purchased for family member---feedback was great. as noted in reviews.....are snug to get in and out of and ordered a half size up. she is a size 6 and the 6 1/2 fit fine. value as always...great.

I walk almost daily in winter snow and slush, and have found these boots perfect for Rochester's changing conditions. My 67-year-old feet have suffered from Morton's neuroma and hallux rigidus (3 surgeries) and these boots have been so comfortable on my feet! I wear a 61/2, or European 37, so I ordered the 7. I can wear them with wool socks. The socks come off as I remove the boots, but I consider this a small inconvenience for such comfortable and feature-filled boots.

The boots in size 6 is very tight on my feet. I did read the customer reviews and spoke with STP before buying. I return these boots. Very long feedback below on my experience as a first time Keen shoes/sandals buyer.I tend to do my clothes and shoe shopping in gulps. My current footwear had seen better days and it is time to replace them. I had not bought or worn Keens before but had heard about them and read the raving reviews about them on STP. So I decided to try them.My experience:1) Based on the customer reviews [...], I bought the shoes listed below in size 6. I wanted to be able to wear all of them with socks. My current footwear range in sizes from 5.5 to 6.2) Except for the Keen Winterport boots, all the items in size 6 are too long, I was literally tripping on them when I tried them on.3) I returned the Winterport boots; I exchanged the other 5 items for the same item in size 5.5[...]

These boots run very small. I couldn't even get my foot into the shaft - and I take a size smaller. I wonder if they were a child's size 7. Beware items made in China - they are very small all the time.

I wanted these to fit so badly but they are a bit short. I am a 5 1/2 or 6 and ordered the 6, but I think the 6 1/2 would have been too big on one foot [...]. :(

very comfortable boots, warm and perform great in snow. Sure they are difficult to put on, but they are boots after all. And yes, the sizing is off, but that's old news with Keens. My beef with these particular boots are that they are slippery on thin ice and that's a big minus for snow boots. I have casual shoes that perform better on ice.

I was looking for a winter snow/rain boot that is easy to pull on and take off - no ties or zippers. These boots have no ties or zippers but are a little tough to get on and off. However, once they are on, they are comfortable and warm. They are perfect for sloshing around and they fit under your pantlegs. I'm hoping that with more wear, they'll get easier to get on and off.

Great price, but I was very disppointed by the look and comfort of the boots. I usually wear a 5 1/2 and ordered a 6 based on other reviews. The 6 was way too small and the boot is difficult to remove. The style is fine if you're using them to tromp around outdoors, but otherwise looked like a kid's boot.
