“When waterproofed they turned a fabulous chocolate brown. Untreated they have a hint of red to them. I am petite and so the boots hit a little higher on my calf than most people...thus they were a little snug on the top. They stretched out within a day or two and are no longer tight at the top 1/4 inch. Love them!”
