This bag is probably best when wet or damp conditions are expected. Its a quality bag that will keep you warm and dry. It zips well and has good room for a mummy! Its not that heavy but it doesn't compress very well, so backpacking with it is questionable.

The sleeping bag is great - keeps me warm when i am camping on cold nights (20 F or lower). The quality is good, as expected from Kelty. Note that this sleeping bag is little too heavy and big for backpacking.

I purchased two of these for my teen kids. We camped at Vedauwvoo, WY at 7200ft. It sleeted them freezing rain. low was 19. The kids said the bags eventually warmed up. So the bags worked even when they started out cold.
