Bought this bag for my oldest son to use on a trip to the Big Hole River in Montana. Got a great deal on the bag. He has not used the bag but I have examined it. Looks and feels well built. Zipper work well and does not snag. I know he is looking forward to using it on the trip.

I do a lot of kayak camping in Northern Fl. My 30-degree bag sometimes isn't warm enough. This bag is warm, has baffles to keep warm, and looks great. Only problem, but not a great problem, it is a little bulky. It was a great price. Everywhere I looked, the same bag, was $50 more.

  • Question “I am 5' 11" and 240# will this Kelty mummy style sleeping bag be uncomfortable for a man my size, in regards to being to confining in shoulder and waist areas. Also on the length for a 5 " 11" person, as I see this being near max for use ?”
Asked on 10/7/2012 12:00:00 AM by hungry_horse from Chippewa Pa
    • Answer The length is probably OK, the girth of the bag at shoulder is 62 inches around. If you measure around your shoulders and that measurement is 60 inches or more it may be so snug.
