Reviewed by Hansy from Northern California on Wednesday, May 15, 2013I haven't got to test this bag in the field yet, but this bag is well designed and comfortably fits my 6'5" body with room to spare. The bag will compress down further than the size stated in the specs, with a little extra squeeze and pull on the cinch strap you should be able to get it down another 30% or so more. Kelty also gives you a breathable storage bag so you do not compress the insulation while it is in storage. Really happy with this product, way to go Kelty!

Reviewed by the minnesota man from minneapolis, mn on Monday, March 07, 2011it doesn't compress enough for long backpacking trips, but you can get by with it on 3-4 day trips. the chest baffle doesn't have a drawstring so it probably not the bag if your expecting condition as cold as 20F.

It's cutting it pretty close so I'd say the 6'6" rating is true but I would go for something longer if you're any taller than that. The bag isn't the lightest thing out there but it's still pretty light and it fits in the sleeping bag compartment of my Kelty Redcloud pack easily. The included compression stuff sack helps and is easy to pack. The bag seems to be well-constructed and the material is very comfortable; more so than the average sleeping bag.
