    I bought this pack because it was inexpensive and a good all around fit for most body types. I have packed with it several times and have had no problems. What I don't like to see is people rating products that haven't made it out of their living room. It gives poor representation of the products actual rating. Be patient and save your ratings for after you have actually used it for backpacking not silly strolls in your neighborhood.

    I used this pack for an overnight backpacking trip recently and so far so good. It was very comfortable and had plenty of room for all of my gear. I really like the detachable top. It made it easy to carry smaller items away from camp like my water filter to the nearest watering hole. The padding is great and everything is easily adjustable.

    Purchased for a short 12 year old boy scout. It is highly adjustable and successfully got his fit. I didn't give it 5 stars because we haven't actually camped with it yet but the quality seems good. The size is great for extended camping. His Scout Master says volume of >4000 was necessary. Tough to find this volume for 17" torso in other backpacks. I think this pack will work well into the future for him.

    Haven't really had the chance to use this for it's intended purpose yet, but I did stuff a test load in to give it a try and walked about a mile and a half around town. After some adjusting the feel was perfect. Threw it on my back the next day to test it on a bikeride, same load(about 20-25 lbs)and it was a comfortable 4 mile ride. Very much looking forward to camping season this year.
