Reviewed by dinake from Tampa on Monday, November 19, 2012I took this tent camping this past weekend on an overnight kayak trip. Its bout 8 lbs and fit will in the kayaks. This would be too heavy for a backpacking trip.
The tent is well made and sets up easily. The color coded poles and clips were great. I loved having two doors.
We didn't encounter any rain or wind so I can't say if its weatherproof
Verified Buyer Reviewed by car camper from Boston, MA on Monday, October 24, 2011We used the Edne 4 for only 1 night this season on a dry warm overnight. It worked well in those conditions. I am concerned that in colder temps the mesh walls will not keep in much body heat. I am concerned that in rain, the peaked awning over the door will drip rain right in front of the door opening because the peak points down and not up, instead of shunting it off to the side and down. However, we are good weather car campers so hopefully this will never be much of an issue. The tent is well made and the interior design is well thought out. Really only enough room for 3 people tho - all gear needed to go into the loft and side pockets.
- Best Uses: Car Camping
- Cons: Lots of mesh walls
- Pros: Easy to set up, Well Made
