This is a great product for my needs. The first time I used it was when my daughter was 2 months old. The first time putting her in the carrier was a little slow, but the set up is safe and snug. The carrier provides good back support and was quite comfortable for up to the 5 miles that I have walked at a time. I especially liked the front storage pocket, which easily held a couple diapers, wipes, a changing pad, and a bottle (so I didn't have to carry a diaper bag!). Overall, I think it is a quality product and even bought one for an expecting friend of mine.

I've used my kangaroo extensively with two babies. I've hiked many, many miles on varied terrain, done the grocery shopping, vacuumed the house, and wandered around the zoo with this carrier. I've tried several others, and this was by far the best. I don't understand the other reviewer's problem with fit. I'm 5'5" and 115 lbs, with a short torso and it fits great. It also adjusts well to fit my 6' husband.

    Easy Use, Strong Construction
    Cons:
Difficult To Set Up, Not Enough Pockets
    Describe Yourself:

The first problem with this carrier is that the straps that attach at the front top of the baby part are the same straps that control where the lumbar hits your back. That means it is hard to tighten the pack and pull the baby towards you - it just makes the lumbar ride up on your back. I had to sew the straps in place to stop this from happening. Also, this pack is for men (despite it's purple color). I'm 5'9" 150 lbs with a 40 inch bust so I am not a small woman, and I have to cinch the lumbar straps all the way in to get lumbar support. I just can't find a truly comfortable carrier. So, I went for bargain price instead. Wait for a good discount coupon and this is worth it. And, if you're like my husband 6' 170 lbs, this might be the perfect fit.
