Reviewed by Panda from Cascades on Sunday, April 28, 2013This is a backpack I enjoy having on my back. I put stuff inside its compartments and they stay there.
Reviewed by New Hiker from South Jersey on Friday, April 12, 2013I bought this as a daypack for hiking. I've only used it once so far, but it was just what I needed. Good amount of room for extra layers of warm clothing, organizing sleeves for storing small items, and accessible front zip pocket. I was nervous about the outside pockets b/c I'd seen comments that they weren't deep enough for water bottles, but I didn't have a problem (I didn't use a nalgene though, I had a taller, more narrow bottle). Looks nice, like the color.
Reviewed by Tahoe Dad from Lake Tahoe on Thursday, April 4, 2013excellent all around backpack I use it for work and play and snowboarding yadda yadda. The only issue I have with it is that it is kinda narrow at the top between the straps, tends to rub on the neck a bit but otherwise really nice pack for the money
Reviewed by ruralmom from Georgia on Monday, March 11, 2013I was pleasantly surprised when my Redtail pack was delivered. The color was a great sky blue (less of a cobalt), and it had more organizational pockets than depicted in the description. Not having enough pockets had been a concern when I ordered it, but it was a great price so I ordered anyway. It's also a good size for carrying around daily essentials or on a trip. Not so much a hiking backpack, but great for my purposes...
Reviewed by birdwlly from dgo CO on Tuesday, October 23, 2012Overall its a good pack, but I've dropped water bottles out of the side pockets at inopportune times (like on a mountain or in a city bus) because they are not deep enough.
- Cons: No Bottom Lash Tabs, Too Small Mesh H20pockets
- Pros: Handles, Laptop sleeve inside, Or Hydration Compatible, Organizer pockets
