I am very happy with the size. My old day pack did not compare to the size and comfort this offers. If your a color buff this Blue is NICE.

I bought this pack to replace my old faithful I have been using for years. I was looking for comfort, medium storage and the ability to have water bottles in pockets. This pack was everything I had hoped for.

I had seen this bag in the store, and thought I was getting the same thing. As it turns out, this is the "LE" version, so it did not have all the same features. For example, the waist belt is not removable, or even storable, which is annoying when using the backpack for just everyday things. But other than that, the silver color is really cool and it has a lot of nice compartments for packing for a hiking trip or just going to the gym. This bag is the perfect size, not too big and bulky, but enough room for everything you need.

This is a great pack, but this particular one is of an older design of the 2650 and the back panel is a bit different (less breathable and padded) than the 2008 Kelty model of the same pack. I ended up sending it back. Comfort means everything to me if I'm on a hike with 25lbs on my back. It's not a bad pack, just not what I expected. Kelty is always high quality, but they also make a lot of improvements to their older equipment. Also, I'm a 17" torso and it fit great, so it's true to size.

I used this pack for hiking and biking. I biked a trail for 25 miles, pack was loaded with food, tools, water etc. and was still very comfortable. I also like the way the pack opens and you can load and find stuff very easily. Great pack, would recommend and buy again.

This is my second Kelty, I like the way it can hold up to Hunting, or back and forth to Work.

I was looking to upgrade to a Kelty backpack since I only used the average pack. What I didn't know, and more importantly, what the description doesn't mention, is that the pack has quite a cumbersome (or uncomfortable) frame. Maybe that's my fault for not knowing what that was until I got it, but thought I would pass that on.

Great pack for daily use around school but also great for use on overnight and even multi-day trips. Much more space than it appears.

I have had my Redwing for nearly seven years. Though I've carried it on numerous dayhikes and through many an airport, it still looks brand new. Since it lacks load lifter straps, I have found that it carries comfortably no more than twenty to twenty five pounds. However, it has more than enough capacity and comfortable loading bearing ability to handle all fair weather dayhiking loads. Numerous pockets give you plenty of organizational options.
