I bought this backpack for my son to use at school. He has to carry a lot of books and a laptop, and he frequently rides his bike. He commented after the first day that the rigid back of the pack was uncomfortable against his back, even with the mesh padding that it has. He also said the main zipper was hard to open and close. It does fit all his stuff well, has great straps and buckles to make for a comfortable bike ride, and he's hoping in time the zippers will ease up. If it had been more expensive, we would have returned it. However, for the price paid, he is willing to keep it and make do with the minor inconveniences in order to have an overall good pack for school.

Seems to be made of good quality materials and craftsmanship. Will be using for day hikes and travel. This is exactly what I was looking for, very happy with the purchase.

I purchased this backpack to use on a trip to Spain. It was my only luggage for a ten day trip. It held up well to being thrown around trains/planes/hostels, and it was lightweight enough to lug around cities all day. While I was impressed at its storage capacity, accessing my laptop was nearly impossible without first removing everything else. The openings are oddly curved at the top, and the zippers stick a little. I handed it down to my husband for his commute, and he uses it daily. So if you're looking for a commuter tote this is great, but I don't recommend for travel.

The backpack is great because I can put it on securely(with the straps) and get on my motorcycle and ride without any trouble at all. I would recommend this pack to anyone!
