Big and roomy, but wind blows right under and dirt goes into sleeping area.not waterproof tent flooded from underneath and through walls.

The description is somewhat misleading, in that there is no fly. This tent has an outer body with 2 sleeping 'pods' that attach via toggle-and-loops. So it is like a typical tent with some internal attachment, but no rain fly over the top. That is, the pole sleeves are not covered by anything. That said, we camped in the rain the first time we set it up, and it did not leak. We were not using the pods, and we still didn't get wet. Some of the night, it was really coming down, so I am reasonably impressed. Don't know how long the water resistance will last, though. Make sure you have a clean tarp (or 2 - there's a lot of floor to cover), though, for your ground cover, because that's your floor.

A friend of mine actually bought this and brought it group camping. I felt soooooo sorry for him and his family! The actually sleeping areas are strangely shaped and because it's a modified dome, it leaves you with very little usable space. The "common room" has no floor, and for family entertainment (if it rains) you can always watch a live version of the movie, "A River Runs Through It". There is no fly. Thankfully, I brought along a couple of extra tarps. When we were all done setting up our tent, I went over to help him and immediately assumed he was setting it up incorrectly -- he wasn't. It's just a very weird design. When I found out what he paid for it, I gave him a man-hug. Poor guy.
