The bag is great. We went hiking the other day and a multitude of other parents commented on how great the pack looked. It was far more comfortable than my internal frame pack I use for overnight hikes. It's only drawback is that our little one couldn't see over my head so he kept shifting his weight from side to side making it a bit uncomfortable at times.

I needed a baby carrier backpack to use on day hikes and around town and so far this pack is working out pretty well. I find it a little difficult to get on and off unless I use a bench, but I'm sure I'll get the hang of it. It works great when my husband and I are together, but if I'm alone, I can't get into any of the pockets without taking the pack (and baby) off my back. That means if I'm using it around town, I have to find a way to carry my wallet/phone. I'd like it better if there were at least a pocket or two on the straps/hip belt to hold a cell phone or small wallet. The baby likes the pack and seems comfortable in it. My only concern on his part is that he'll reach the 30 lb (baby + gear) weight limit too fast! I didn't think the zip-off diaper bag feature was going to be useful, but I've already used it several times.

I bought this carrier so I could take my 7 month old daughter for hikes and just around town. My biggest concern in purchasing a child carrier was whether or not I would be able to manage it alone. So far, I haven't had any trouble. It fits me great, (I'm 5'5 140), But my boyfriend said it was a little small (he's 6'1 180) And my little Frances LOVES it!

It is nice that when you are not carrying a child the straps tighten down to become just a backpack

I love it. It doesn't fit my husband as well, but I can easily take a long hike, get the floors swept or the dishes finished. We love the zip-off pack and use it as a detachable diaper bag. It's nice that we don't always have to drag the stroller if space it tight. I just wish we had purchased it sooner.

My wife and I do a lot of hiking and spend a lot of time outdoors. This is the perfect child carrier for our newborn daughter to start learning about being in nature.

I really liked this back pack. My goal was to use it as a diaper bag, since I was carrying one around all the time anyway. And to have an extra carrier seemed too much. I sent it back only becaseu my son could not be belted in because he was too tall. The shoulder harness is adjustable but not the rise. He probably would be below the weight limit for another year and a half, but because the rise was not adjustable like on the TC 2.0 (which is more like a metal frame carrier and too heavy to be a simple diaper bag) I could not use this as I planned. Probably would work well for up to 1 year old or below a 30" tall child.

We hiked Arches Natl Park with our two year old in this pack. She was comfortable and so were we. I loved that the front of the pack zips off into another smaller pack with organizing pockets for diapers and sunscreen. There was plenty of space to carry everything else we needed in the middle compartment. The straps adjusted comfortably for my husband who is 6'2" to me at 5'6".
