Kelty Teton 6 Tent - 6-Person, 3-Season

We've always liked Kelty products, and have had 2 tents that have lasted 15 years so far (2 & 3-person). This one is larger, and will be used for our 4 person family plus K9. Never sure what you're going to get when you order a discounted product such as this, but this ones seems like there is no "catch". Great deal on a such a large, high quality tent. Great air flow, as the roof is mostly screen. Super easy to assemble and take down, and not as heavy as some other tents this size. Hoping it holds up in the high Cascade winds this summer, and for many years to come.

Easy to set up, dry, and aluminum poles = great value. I'd wish for second door/vestibule and a fly that would extend further down the sides of the tent, then I'd probably rate it a 5star tent. Still, a great tent, with the one door, and the "mini skirt-like fly.

I bought this tent because of Kelty reputation and because of the price. The aluminum poles are very well constructed and easy to use. The set up requires only the two poles crossed in the middle and my 11 year old and I had it up in minutes. The fly is nice but does not cover the sides well so I imagine it will soak the walls if it rains. I have not used it in rain at this time. I reccomend this for casual overnight use.

My wife & son used this tent for their Cub Scout Campout. It was easy for them to set up and take down. It will fit two queen air mattress with room for gear. I would have given it 5 stars, but it's hard for me to rate it so high with only one use.
