Setting up and taking down the Kelty Vista 3 was very easy for one person to do. I've never used the jake's foot attachments before, but they were easy to figure out. The Kelty Vista 3 has two "adjustable" walls on the sides , which can be open or closed, using velcro attachments. It would probably be a good idea to re-attach the velcro before taking this tent down, so you don't snag the mesh walls. Both doors are a layered combination of mesh and solid fabric, so each door can be zipped completely closed, or the solid portion of the door can be unzipped and rolled back to allow more ventilation through. The rainfly is easy to attach/detach, and a small clear window is positioned over each entrance, so you can take a quick peek outside to check the weather. My only complaint about the rainfly is that they only used a single zipper, which narrows the top of the entrance, because the door is quite wide, due to the two brow poles used in the tent setup. While this tent is heavy for backpacking, it's a great size for car-camping, and would comfortably hold two people with gear inside. Store gear in the vestibule, and three people inside wouldn't be a problem.
