    Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
    This tent is saving me from trying to resurrect my 30yr old timberline. It will probably be a spare for when 4 of us take off rather than just two. I have not set it up outside to check full length. I have seen a used Boy Scout tent for $10 more that was probably a better deal.

    I bought this tent right before going to the Red River Gorge for a climbing trip. I got it in the mail a day before with no time to set it up and add extra seam seal. The first time I pitched it was at the campsite and it was love at first sight! It definitely went through a trial by fire. It survived two hail storms and continuous rain throughout the week and I stayed dry all the while. Great tent, great price, can't go wrong!

    This is the same tent as the Salida 2 man that sells for $160 and won the awards. Except for the fiberglass poles which make it about a pound more heavy. Get this tent and put the aluminum poles in and you have a excellent under 4 lb tent with the same quality and amenities as the Salida tent. With Alum poles it becomes a great tent that no other tent can match for under $140.
