The top is made of a material that is kind of puckery (like quilted toilet paper looks) and the bottom is normal spandex with a braided type waistband. It is a very cute suit, but may not be for you if you are an avid swimmer. Not a lot of structure in the top. But if you are just a tanner like me that doesn't want to show EVERYTHING while walking around the pool area, it is perfect.”
