Pros:
Comfortable, Lightweight, Moisture Wicking, Warm
Best Uses:
Cold Weather, Layering
Fit:
Feels true to size
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
I work outside in wet, cold oregon weather and this shirt works good here. It wicks well and works good when layered. If I sweat it dries quickly and if I get too cool I put a thin layer over it and get warm fast. Not the most stylish shirt, but it is an underlayer garmet. I don't really care about all the frills, I just need something I can beat on and stay warm in, so this is a good deal for that.

This is a nice top. I am 6'3" 210 lbs and usually wear a large. I have read that a lot of these are small for the size so I ordered a Xlarge to be safe and this one turned out to be a bit big but that's okay because it is very comfortable and I can wear another layer under it if I want. The sizing seems to be right on. Sleeve and body length are nice and long as well. The color is a little more attractive than in the pic as well.
It has a smooth outer surface which is nice as I sleep in it in cold weather and it doesn't stick to the flannel lining of my sleeping bag and bunch the lining up when I turn over.
The inner part has a nice velvet lining and feels nice if this is the first layer next to your skin and it does a good job of wicking off the moisture if you are exercising.
The zipper is a really nice feature because if you get overheated you can zip it down and cool off quite rapidly and if things get too cool you can zip it up and hold the body heat in.
If you zip the zipper down a little the collar folds down and it looks like you are wearing a polo shirt. If you zip it all the way up it will cover and protect your entire neck like a nice turtle neck. Nice protection in those cold breezes.
It's nice for lounging around the house or out walking or hiking because if it gets a little cool just zip up the zipper and if you are out exercising a bit and you get warm just unzip it a little. The zipper will help keep you quite comfortable in a wide range of temperatures.
All in all I haven't found any con's to this top. It's well made, fits well, and versatile as you can wear it as a stand alone shirt or as a part of a layering system and it is becoming my favorite top to wear in these cooler months.

Based on previous purchases of Kenyon articles from STP, I purchased this article as an additional layering garment for sitting in the blind during late season waterfowling outings. This is a quality piece of cold-weather gear but the sizing is off--sleeves are too short and the tails are definately not long enough to stay tucked in when bending over. Other Kenyon undergarments (tops and bottoms) purchased with this one are slightly too large. It's good gear at a good price and it fulfills the intended purpose so I can't complain too much.
