Reviewed by Geewillicker from Petaluma, California on Saturday, August 15, 2015I got one of these about two years ago, because non of my down jackets had hoods.
I wired a new home up at Shell Beach, which is about 12 miles north of Bodega Bay;and after the first day of 40 degree wind and fog, I decided to wear my Kenyon Polar skins long underwear, and my Expedition Weight Balaclava.
The Balaclava was great and warm outside and really nice under the house, with all those spiders; And now that I am a member of California Ghost and Paranormal, in Santa Rosa, I have used it a couple of times at night in graveyards.
It really keeps your head and ears warm, but it is also pretty easy to hear what's going on around you.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by hikergirl from Wilmington NC on Tuesday, June 16, 2015Seems warm though it is June and 95 degrees. Can't wait to try it for some winter backpacking trips.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Ron from Kentucky on Thursday, June 4, 2015Fleece to me means polyester but in fact what I received is merino wool. I love merino but I was looking for something that would dry quickly.
Fit is good on my 7 3/8 cap size head.
