Kenyon Fleece Balaclava (For Youth)

We have not had a chance to take these out on the slopes yet. Everyone had a balaclava but the girls last year, and I think these will work acceptably for those few blustery, snow in your face days, we're bound to encounter.

My kid was thrilled to get this. The 1st night he went to bed wearing (i took it off when he was asleep). He and his cousin, who also has one, play ninja's in it. So aside for being pratical for the cold, it also serves as dress up and encourages creative play, why not? The kids love it and it's warm.

My 2-year old son wore a different style of balaclava all winter and loved it. I'm not sure how he'll like this one because the opening for the face is smaller - it will cover his mouth and come up just under his nose. But it's soft and a tight-woven fleece.

This is perfect for those ski days when it's really windy and the snow pricks your face. May 9 year old daughter loves it!

Bought two of these, 1 for my 5 yr old and 1 for my 8 yr old. They work perfect for keeping their faces/heads/necks warm when we are skiing. They have smaller heads, so if your child is on the larger head size or if their eyes are fairly far apart this may be a little small. Hope this helps!

I bought one of these for my 6 year-old son for skiing, because he was complaining that his ears were cold (especially if it was windy) on the chairlift, even though his helmet had ear guards. He loves his "ninja mask," and even wants to wear it when the weather is reasonably warm for skiing (in the mid 30's). He liked his balaclava so much, I purchased another to keep my 4 year-old daughter's ears warm on the lifts. Not too many girly colors available, but she liked the gray. Nice quality fleece with good construction. I had to cut out the tags, because they were "itchy." I think my 6 year-old will be able to wear this for another one to two years as it is a one size fits all. It fits nicely under helmets. It is a great price also. I've seen these go for $15 retail, and I paid less than [$] each on STP's website. I'm a pleased mom.

My daughter wanted a balaclava to wear to/from school and at recess in Minnesota. She won't wear any other hat now. Love the red color. At first it looked like the window opening was really small around the eyes, but she pulls it down or up as needed and it works great - we love it.

The one way I got all three boys to wear this during our snow trip was to say they look like ninjas. These hats were on in a flash. We has two blizzards during the trip and these kept them warm and dry, unlike their jacket hoods which were loose.

I bought two of these for my 2 yr old and 4 year old nephew. They are thin, but seem warm. I would say these are best suited for a smaller child (maybe up to 6 or so) wihtout being too small.
