    Bought this for my son to use in Alaska when windy and cold Nordic ski conditions for the 9 mile ski in to our lodge by Mt McKinley are present. Lightweight and takes little space in the daypack, and we always have it along for the possibility of weather changes.

    We have not had a chance to take these out on the slopes yet. Everyone had a balaclava but the girls last year, and I think these will work acceptably for those few blustery, snow in your face days, we're bound to encounter.

    My kid was thrilled to get this. The 1st night he went to bed wearing (i took it off when he was asleep). He and his cousin, who also has one, play ninja's in it. So aside for being pratical for the cold, it also serves as dress up and encourages creative play, why not? The kids love it and it's warm.
