Kenyon Polartec® Gaiter - Windbloc® Fleece (For Men and Women)

This was exactly what I was looking for. I've had other neck gaiters for downhill skiing, but while they kept my neck and face warm on the chairlift, on downhill runs the wind cut through the fleece. And, breathing into the gaiter often fogged my goggles. This gaiter is great; wind doesn't get through, and the mesh patch (approx. 1" x 1 1/2") lets me breath easily without fogging.

I wear this every day riding my bike all over the city. Even at >20mph and 20F, no wind gets through. The mesh over the mouth is great because you can put your lips right on it and breath in some cold air if you start overheating. The diameter is perfect for me - stays up above my nose without hurting or sliding down. Mesh keeps me from fogging up my sunglasses.

I bought this for winter cycling, but winter has been elusive in 2012. The one time that I have worn this, cycling at around 32 degrees, I was way too warm. I'm sure that it will work fine in temps much colder than that. I really do like the little breathing screen area to match up with nose and mouth.

Good to have a neck gaiter around for running or back country skiing. This one fits the bill!

This is warmer than my North Face windbloc gaiter and a lot less money! The fit is really good and the price is great!I liked it so much I bought 2 more.

warm and soft. The mesh in front helps with breathability.

I suffer from asthma so this gaiter works real nice when I need to feed the animals in very cold conditions.I thought the mesh panel would allow too much cold air to be inhaled and I found that it really doesn't.On colder mornings I pull the mesh panel up to cover my nose and half of my mouth and I can still breath warmly.It's harder to breath w/o using the mesh panel because it's wind proof.I have a small head and found this to be very snug. It may losen up a bit after longer use.I hand wash and air dry to prolong it's good quality.Most important is that it's made in America!

Tall people (6' & taller) , the item is a little short to will not cover your neck and up over your nose. Best to wear it for neck coverage, and then it feels better than a turtle-neck sweater, full coverage but not tight.
